Repose in Avignon...
If you will be visiting Avignon France and are looking for some serenity ...you will want to check out and check into the Cloitre Saint Louis ... a 16th Century Jesuit seminary which is now a four star hotel.
It was one of my favorite places to stay while in France. Contrasting against the inspiring architecture are low-keyed modern furnishings accented with antiques which don't distract you from the grand quietude of the spaces.
The center courtyard is the perfect place to reflect or meditate under the centuries old Plane trees while listening to the trickling of the water from the rock fountain.
An easy stroll from the Cloitre Saint Louis is a wonderful restaurant you may want to try
"Les 5 Sens"
The owner and chef, Thierry Baucher, holds the highly prized recognition of Meilleur Ouvrier de France. The menu combines local French cuisine and Fusion
It is a perfect place for a romantic dinner...
